DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

▪ Design, develop, and implement geospatial software solutions to support stakeholders in building geospatial applications.

▪ Test and validate software components of an advanced geospatial processing system to improve

operational processes.

▪ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement solutions that meet business requirements.

▪ Utilize coding skills in TypeScript, JavaScript, React framework, NestJs framework, and other programming languages as needed.

▪ Utilize knowledge of geospatial concepts and familiarity with relational databases, such as PostgreSQL,

and/or NoSQL databases to develop software solutions.

▪ Continuously stay up-to-date with new technology trends and advancements in geospatial software

development.

▪ Performs other related duties as assigned.

JOB SPECIFICATION

Education and Experience:

▪ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Geospatial Science, or related field.

▪ 3+ years of experience in geospatial software development.

▪ Experience with geospatial concepts and software development frameworks.

▪ Familiarity with relational databases, such as PostgreSQL, and/or NoSQL databases.

▪ Experience working in Agile development environments is a plus.

Required Skills/Abilities:

▪ Proficient in coding skills in TypeScript, JavaScript, React framework, NestJs framework, and other

programming languages as needed.

▪ Strong knowledge of geospatial concepts and familiarity with geospatial software development frameworks.

▪ Knowledge of relational databases, such as PostgreSQL, and/or NoSQL databases.

▪ Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.

▪ Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

▪ Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

▪ Development of custom geospatial solutions
